Tori Kelly Hospitalized with Low Blood Sugar: Singer’s Condition Update
On Sunday night, singer Tori Kelly was taken to the hospital after reportedly experiencing severe exhaustion due to low blood sugar levels. She was having dinner at a downtown LA restaurant when she suddenly felt her heart racing. According to a source, she briefly lost consciousness. She was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by her dinner companions.
The reports state that Kelly’s doctors found traces of low blood sugar in her lungs and legs. A medical team was working to determine whether there were clots near the Grammy winner’s heart or not.TMZ stated that during her hospitalization, Kelly was conscious and responsive and is currently under the care of the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai.Kelly was scheduled to perform at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on Friday. As of now, there is no information on whether the show will be canceled or postponed.
The “Nobody Love” artist was nominated for Best New Artist at the 58th Grammy Awards in 2016. Later, in 2019, she won Grammy awards for her singles “Never Alone” and her gospel album “Hiding Place.” Recently, her holiday album “A Tori Kelly Christmas” was nominated for a Grammy in 2022.
