Android 13 arrives on the US version of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G  :

The US has released an update that brings the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G’s operating system up to date. Samsung has done an excellent job of keeping its smartphones updated with OS and security updates despite being the world’s largest phone manufacturer. Owners of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be pleased to learn that the US carrier-locked version of the phone has begun receiving Google’s most recent Android 13 upgrade.

The upgrade is being rolled out to US cellular Galaxy A13 5G phones right now. The updated firmware, version A136USQU3CVK9, is now available for the phones. Additionally, it has the Android security update from November 2022.

The news source predicts that within the following few days, Android 13 will begin to trickle out to further carrier-locked handsets. As a result, users of the Galaxy A13 5G on T-Mobile or AT&T should take caution as their device may receive Android 13 by the end of the week.

Although the update should automatically appear, you can always see if it is by going to the Settings menu. Simply navigate to the Software Update tab in the Settings menu, and if it’s available, you should be able to download and install it. You can choose to manually install it if it doesn’t come, or you can wait for it to arrive.

Of course, in case something goes wrong, make sure to backup all of your crucial data on the smartphone before doing that. It’s possible that this is the Galaxy A13 5G’s most recent upgrade even though it only made its debut a year ago. If that’s the case, installing a custom ROM will allow you to keep it current and updated for years to come.
