Amidst rumors of a summer romance between the retired NFL player, and model Irina Shayk, a special source told People that his former wife “is on vacation in Brazil at the moment and living her life, but in the past, she has said that she just wants to see him happy.”
Brady, 43, and Bundchen finalized their divorce in October after 13 years of marriage. With Bundchen, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback shares 13-year-old son Benjamin Rein and 10-year-old daughter Vivian Lake, and he is the father to 15-year-old son John “Jack” Edward Thomas with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Since his split from Bundchen, rumors of Brady being linked with actresses Reiza Wigs and later with Kim Kardashian surfaced, but sources told People that he and the 42-year-old Kardashian are just friends.
According to Page Six and others’ reports, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was first seen with Shayk, 37, in public when he was spotted picking her up at a hotel in Bel-Air on Friday afternoon and photographed returning to his Los Angeles home.
An insider told People that Brady invited Shayk to “come to L.A. and meet up” and “they spent Friday and Saturday night together at his house.”
“They have a strong attraction,” the insider said, adding that Brady and Shayk “had never been romantically involved before their summer romance began.” According to the source, the two have been “in touch for a few weeks” and “there is a spark.”
Since his retirement, Brady has been seen spending quality time with his children. In July, he shared a picture on his Instagram story walking shoulder to shoulder with his sons on a boardwalk by the seaside with the caption “❤️️❤️️.”
